Topic: “Planning for the FIFA WORLD CUP 2026™ BOSTON”

This June, Gillette Stadium will be transformed to Boston Stadium, hosting seven games of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The World Cup is widely considered the world’s biggest and most popular sporting event. With a global, cumulative audience estimated to exceed 6 billion for the 2026 tournament, its viewership will dwarf that of the Olympics and Super Bowl. The 2026 edition in North America, with 48 teams, is set to be the largest in history. One can only imagine the monumental task of planning a tournament that takes place every four years! Our speakers will provide a behind the scenes perspective of what it is taking to accomplish this world event.

Following a successful athletic career in the Australian Football League with the West Coast Eagles, Brett transitioned to executive leadership roles within Cricket and Rugby League. With a deep interest in continuous learning, he has designed and led systems that have successfully developed players, coaches, and performance staff to succeed by realizing their potential.

Prior to joining Boston Soccer 2026, John worked with the New England Revolution (MLS) from 2019 to 2023, where he focused on the sale of premium ticket packages and group tickets at Gillette Stadium.
